Fun game, but I noticed some strange things in the skill tree with the icons being in strange places and not connected to the rest for seemingly no reason or just placed strangely in general

Fun prototype.
Bugs: 1 make it so that the upgrade tree doesn't move you back to the beginning (i would also add a boundary so player cant get lost.) 2 check the area in between were the bullet moves too and from, so that it cant pass through asteroids. 3 some items on the tree are likely misplaced
Feed back: 1 music sound effects and a background would help a bit. (though i don't care much as i usually listen to things when i play games, and the lack of background makes the asteroids position clear) 2 i would change the tree shape a bit so it's not so linear, but that's mostly preference 3 it might help to have a quick round end if they can end up being longer than 30 seconds in the future. 4 i would save some of the stronger asteroids for a bit later in the game (eg when you first upgrade them) as they have to much health to reasonably be destroyed with the first 10~ upgrades.
Other: 1 might help to have some other options (eg a splinter shot, or bombs) for variety, 2 also some challenge might help for engagement (eg enemies, boss asteroids, an asteroid that you don't want to hit etc). 3 the overall gameplay loop/atroid destruction is good
Keep in mind that i don't know how you plain to develop this, my ideas may go against what you think is best for your game, you may want it to be short with only one weapon, or to have the harder asteroids as a benchmark for.
For being in early development this is quite well done, and im exited to see how this develops. I hope this brick of text helps! (and didn't come off as harsh/overly critical/confusing)
Hey, thank you for taking your time to provide feedback, this really helps the development process! I do plan to add more spaceships with different weapon types, more Asteriod variety with unique features and more! I’m building towards a solid 30min demo for now. The first bug you mentioned I’m currently fixing. Thanks again!
